Oblique cylinder flat pattern, by angle and length
A leaning round tube with level ends, sized by the length along its centre line and the angle between that line and the base. The pattern comes exact or triangulated.
A leaning tube with level round ends, given by the length of its centre line and its angle to the base.
Sizes you enter
- Diameter (D): Across the level ends, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Centre line length (L): Along the tube's centre line, from the base's centre to the top's.
- Angle to the base (A): Between the centre line and the base, seen from the front, leaning to the right (away from the seam). 90 = upright; over 90 leans to the left, toward the seam.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
