Rectangular duct branch, angled, rounded corner: flat patterns
A rectangular branch leaves a rectangular trunk at an angle, the open corner on the far side of its lean rounded for a smoother flow, the sharp side left square-cut. Five plates: the top and the bottom to the plan, the trunk's back, and two sides, one pressed round the corner in facets.
A rectangular branch off a rectangular trunk at any angle, of one height, the open corner where it leaves rounded; five plates.
Sizes you enter
- Trunk width (W): Across the trunk, seen from above, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Trunk, first end (A1): From the trunk's first end to where the branch's centre line crosses the trunk's.
- Trunk, second end (A2): From that crossing to the trunk's second end.
- Branch width (w): Across the branch, square to its centre line.
- Branch reach (R): Along the branch's centre line, from the trunk's centre line to the branch's end.
- Height (H): Across trunk and branch, seen from the front, the same all along.
- Branch angle (A): Between the trunk's and the branch's centre lines, the branch leaning towards the second end; 90° square.
- Corner radius (r): Of the open corner where the branch leaves the trunk (the side away from its lean), on the surface chosen under Sheet.
