Segmented round bend at any angle (lobster back / mitre bend)
The same segmented construction as the 90° elbow, for 30°, 45°, 60° or any other bend angle. The two end segments are half size, and the seams can be staggered, in line or split in two.
Round duct turned through any angle by cylindrical segments, the two end segments half size.
Sizes you enter
- Diameter (D): Across the duct, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Centre-line radius (R): From the bend centre to the duct centre line.
- Bend angle (A): How far the duct turns, more than 0° up to 180°.
- Number of segments (n): All segments, the two half end segments included.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
