Truncated cone flat patterns, in levels
A tall truncated cone, a hopper or a stack, cut across into levels of equal height so each part fits the sheet and the rolls. Every level is a slice of the same cone, so the levels meet edge to edge; each pattern is a sector of a ring, exported as true arcs.
A truncated cone cut across into levels of equal height, each rolled as its own part.
Sizes you enter
- Base diameter (D): The larger end, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Top diameter (d): The smaller end, on the same surface.
- Height (H): Vertical distance between the two ends.
- Levels (Lv): Number of levels the cone is cut into across, all the same height.
- Parts in each level (n): Equal parts round each level, each with its own seams.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
