Cylinder with angled top: pipe mitre cut flat pattern
A tube cut on a slope at one end, used for mitred joints, roof penetrations and angled outlets. You give the two side heights; the cut line comes out as a smooth curve on the flat pattern.
A tube cut at an angle at the top, square at the base.
Sizes you enter
- Diameter (D): Across the tube, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Left side height (H1): Seam side, as seen in the front view.
- Right side height (H2): Opposite the seam, as seen in the front view.
- Seam angle (S): 0 = seam on the left side (the short side). Turns the seam round the part.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
