Cylinder cut at both ends (double mitre pipe pattern)
Both ends of the tube are cut on a slope, as in the middle piece of a mitred bend or a pipe running between two inclined surfaces. Set the side heights for the top cut and the base rise for the lower cut.
A tube cut at an angle at the top and at the base.
Sizes you enter
- Diameter (D): Across the tube, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Left side height (H1): Seam side wall, base edge to top edge.
- Right side height (H2): Opposite wall, base edge to top edge.
- Base rise (B): How much higher the base edge is on the right than on the left. 0 = square base; negative = lower.
- Seam angle (S): 0 = seam on the left side (the short side). Turns the seam round the part.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
