Cone to pipe branch at 90°: cone flat pattern
A conical branch meets a round trunk at 90° on its centre line, widening towards the trunk, as on a reducing take-off. The cone is developed from its small end to the curve where it sits on the trunk, with numbered press lines.
A cone branch square to a round trunk, on its centre line, opening towards it; the pattern is the cone branch.
Sizes you enter
- Trunk diameter (Dt): Across the trunk, where the cone meets it.
- Trunk height (H): Overall height of the trunk.
- Branch height (Hb): From the trunk's bottom to the cone's centre line.
- Small end diameter (d): Across the cone's small end, the end away from the trunk, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Small end distance (Ls): From the trunk's centre line to the cone's small end.
- Cone angle (A): The whole angle between the cone's sides, opening towards the trunk.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
