Cone to pipe branch at an angle: trunk pattern with hole
A conical branch meets a round trunk on its centre line at an angle, widening towards the trunk, as on a lateral reducing take-off. The trunk is developed flat with the exact hole for the cone.
A cone branch at an angle to a round trunk, on its centre line, opening towards it; the pattern is the trunk with its hole.
Sizes you enter
- Trunk diameter (Dt): Across the trunk, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Trunk height (H): Overall height of the trunk.
- Branch height (Hb): From the trunk's bottom to where the cone's centre line crosses the trunk's.
- Small end diameter (d): Across the cone's small end, the end away from the trunk.
- Small end distance (Ls): Along the cone's centre line, from where it crosses the trunk's to the cone's small end.
- Cone angle (A): The whole angle between the cone's sides, opening towards the trunk.
- Branch angle (B): Between the trunk's centre line, downwards, and the cone's: 90° is level, less points the cone down.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
