Cylinder flat pattern, angled top by side height
A round tube with its top cut at an angle, square at the base. Give the height of the short side, where the seam is, and the angle of the cut; the pattern follows the true curve of the cut edge.
A tube cut at an angle at the top, given by its short side's height and the angle.
Sizes you enter
- Diameter (D): Across the tube, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Short side height (H): From the base to the top cut on the short side (the seam side, left in the front view).
- Cut angle (A): Angle between the top cut and the base, seen from the front. 0 = square to the axis. Rising away from the seam.
- Seam angle (S): 0 = seam on the left side (the short side). Turns the seam round the part.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
