Rectangle to ellipse transition flat pattern
Joins a rectangular opening, with radiused corners if wanted, to a true elliptical top. Both ends are parallel and centred. Cut as one, two or four parts.
Rectangular base with rounded corners to a true ellipse top, parallel and centred.
Sizes you enter
- Base width (W): Shorter side of the base.
- Base length (L): Longer side of the base.
- Top length (l): Length of the ellipse (its long axis), along L.
- Top width (w): Width of the ellipse (its short axis).
- Height (H): Vertical distance from base to top.
- Base corner radius (R): 0 = sharp corners.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
