Pipe to cone, angled branch: cone pattern with hole
A round pipe leaves the cone at a set angle, neither level nor upright. The cone is developed flat with the matching hole for the branch.
A round branch rising out of a cone at an angle, on its centre line or off it; the pattern is the cone with its hole.
Sizes you enter
- Base diameter (D): Across the cone's base, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Top diameter (d): Across the cone's top, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Height (H): From the base to the top.
- Branch diameter (Db): Across the branch: the hole is cut to this size.
- Branch height (Hb): From the base to where the branch's centre line meets the cone's.
- Branch angle (A): The branch's centre line above the level, rising outwards (0 = level).
- Offset (Z): The branch's centre line to the side of the cone's (0 = on it), seen from above.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
