Oblique cone flat pattern, offset both ways
A reducer whose top is moved off the base's centre in two directions, across and back, both ends level. The pattern is seamed on the side the top leans to and comes out symmetric, the press lines along the cone's true straight lines.
A cone with its top moved off the base's centre both across and back, the ends level.
Sizes you enter
- Base diameter (D): The larger end, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Top diameter (d): The smaller end, on the same surface.
- Height (H): From the base to the top.
- Top offset across (X): From the base's centre to the top's, seen from the front: to the left. Negative: to the right.
- Top offset back (Y): From the base's centre to the top's, seen from above, square to X: toward the back. Negative: toward the front.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
