Mitred elbow, pipe to pipe, double (offset), outside sizes: flat patterns
The pipe offset again, with the lengths taken where they are easiest to measure on the job: up the outside of the first joint, from the pipe ends to the joints' corners. All three pipes are developed flat, the seams alternating so the patterns nest, or in one line.
Two mitre joints setting a pipe over to run on parallel, sized on its outside; the patterns are the three pipes.
Sizes you enter
- Diameter (D): Across the pipes, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- First pipe (L1): From the first pipe's open end to the first joint's corner, on the side the offset leaves from (the outside of the first joint).
- Rise (H): Along the run, from the first joint's corner to the second's on that same side.
- Offset (X): Across the run: how far the last pipe is set over from the first.
- Last pipe (L2): From the second joint's corner on that same side to the last pipe's open end.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
