Mitred elbow, pipe to pipe, double (offset): flat patterns
Two mitre joints step a pipe across to run on parallel, as round a beam or between two levels of ductwork. Sizes go on the centre line; all three pipes are developed flat, the seams alternating so the patterns nest, or in one line along the elbow.
Two mitre joints setting a pipe over to run on parallel, sized on the centre line; the patterns are the three pipes.
Sizes you enter
- Diameter (D): Across the pipes, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- First pipe (L1): From the first pipe's open end along its centre line to the first joint.
- Rise (H): Along the run, from the first joint to the second (on the centre line).
- Offset (X): Across the run: how far the last pipe's centre line is set over from the first's.
- Last pipe (L2): From the second joint along the last pipe's centre line to its open end.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
