Pipe cut by a plate, flat pattern by offsets
A round pipe that leans and stands on a flat plate, its foot cut to sit on the plate and its top end square. Give the diameter, how far the top end's centre is moved across and back from the foot, and its height above the plate.
A round pipe standing on a flat plate at an angle, cut where it meets the plate, its top end square.
Sizes you enter
- Pipe diameter (D): Across the pipe, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Offset across (X): From where the pipe's centre line meets the plate to the centre of its top end, seen from above: to the right.
- Offset back (Y): The same, toward the plate's back edge (up the sheet). Negative: toward the front.
- Height (H): From the plate up to the centre of the pipe's top end.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
