Two pipes cut by a plate, flat patterns by offsets
Two round pipes of one size rising from one point on a plate and leaning apart in a V, each cut where it meets the plate and where it meets the other pipe. Give each top end's offset and height seen square to the V, and how far the V leans back.
Two round pipes standing on a plate from one point, leaning apart in a V, each cut by the plate and by the other.
Sizes you enter
- Pipe diameter (D): Across each pipe, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Left offset (X1): Seen square to the V: from where the centre lines meet the plate, across to the left pipe's top end centre.
- Left height (H1): Seen square to the V: up to the left pipe's top end centre.
- Right offset (X2): The same across to the right pipe's top end centre.
- Right height (H2): The same up to the right pipe's top end centre.
- V leaning back (T): The plane of the two pipes, leaning back from upright, seen from the side. 0 = standing square to the plate.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
