Plate with a hole for a leaning pipe, by offsets
A flat plate with the hole a leaning round pipe needs: an ellipse, longer the more the pipe leans, with the pipe's lines marked from its edge to the centre. Give the plate's size, where the pipe stands on it and the pipe's offsets and height.

Sizes you enter
- Plate width (W): Across the plate, left to right.
- Plate depth (B): From the plate's front edge to its back edge.
- From the left edge (Cx): From the plate's left edge to where the pipe's centre line meets it.
- From the back edge (Cy): From the plate's back edge to where the pipe's centre line meets it.
- Pipe diameter (D): Across the pipe, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Offset across (X): From where the pipe's centre line meets the plate to the centre of its top end, seen from above: to the right.
- Offset back (Y): The same, toward the plate's back edge (up the sheet). Negative: toward the front.
- Height (H): From the plate up to the centre of the pipe's top end.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
