Plate with a hole for a leaning pipe, by angles
A flat plate with the hole for a round pipe that meets it at an angle: an ellipse along the direction the pipe leans, the pipe's lines marked to the centre. Give the plate's size, where the pipe stands, its angle to the plate and the direction it leans.
A flat plate with the elliptical hole a round pipe leaning through it needs, the pipe's lines marked to the centre.
Sizes you enter
- Plate width (W): Across the plate, left to right.
- Plate depth (B): From the plate's front edge to its back edge.
- From the left edge (Cx): From the plate's left edge to where the pipe's centre line meets it.
- From the back edge (Cy): From the plate's back edge to where the pipe's centre line meets it.
- Pipe diameter (D): Across the pipe, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Angle to the plate (A): Between the pipe's centre line and the plate. 90 = upright.
- Direction (P): The direction the pipe leans toward, seen from above: from the right, turning toward the back edge. 0 = to the right, 90 = to the back.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
