Two pipes cut by a plate, flat patterns by angles
Two round pipes of one size rising from one point on a plate and leaning apart in a V, each cut by the plate and by the other pipe. Give each pipe's length along its centre line and its lean from upright, and how far the V leans back.
Two round pipes standing on a plate from one point, leaning apart in a V, each cut by the plate and by the other.
Sizes you enter
- Pipe diameter (D): Across each pipe, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Left pipe length (L1): Along the left pipe's centre line, from where it meets the plate to its top end.
- Left pipe lean (A): The left pipe's lean from upright, seen square to the V.
- Right pipe length (L2): The same for the right pipe.
- Right pipe lean (B): The right pipe's lean from upright, seen square to the V.
- V leaning back (T): The plane of the two pipes, leaning back from upright, seen from the side. 0 = standing square to the plate.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
