Rectangle to round transition in levels (sectioned)
Large square to round transitions are often too tall for one sheet or too heavy to form in one piece. This page splits the fitting into horizontal levels of equal height, and each level gets its own flat pattern.
Rectangle to round split into horizontal levels of equal height, each cut as its own part.
Sizes you enter
- Base width (W): Shorter side of the base.
- Base length (L): Longer side of the base.
- Top diameter (D): Must be smaller than both base sides.
- Height (H): Vertical distance from base to top.
- Levels (n): Number of horizontal levels, all the same height.
- Top offset along the length (X): Moves the top centre along L. 0 = centred.
- Top offset along the width (Y): Moves the top centre along W. 0 = centred.
- Base corner radius (R): 0 = sharp corners.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
