Cylinder flat pattern, two-plane top with the ridge off centre
A round tube with its top cut by two planes meeting in a ridge to one side of the centre line, as under a roof whose ridge does not pass over the pipe's axis. Give the ridge height, its offset and the angle of each cut.

Sizes you enter
- Diameter (D): Across the tube, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Ridge height (H): From the base up to the ridge, where the two cuts meet.
- Ridge offset (X): From the centre line to the ridge, seen from the front: to the right; negative to the left. Less than the radius.
- Left cut angle (A1): The left cut against a square end, seen from the front, falling from the ridge.
- Right cut angle (A2): The right cut against a square end, falling from the ridge.
- Seam angle (S): 180 = seam on the right side, 0 = on the left. Turns the seam round the part.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
