Pipe to oblique cone, angled branch pattern
The angled branch on an eccentric cone, optionally turned in plan, with its end shaped to the cone surface. Use it with the matching cone page for the hole.
A round branch rising at an angle into an oblique cone (its top off the base's centre), turned to the side if wanted; the pattern is the branch.
Sizes you enter
- Base diameter (D): Across the cone's base, on the surface it is drawn to.
- Top diameter (d): Across the cone's top, on the surface it is drawn to.
- Height (H): From the base to the top.
- Top offset (X): The top's centre from the base's, seen from above (negative: the other way).
- Branch diameter (Db): Across the branch, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Branch height (Hb): From the base to where the branch's centre line meets the cone's.
- Branch angle (A): The branch's centre line above the level (0 = level), in degrees.
- Plan angle (B): The branch turned from the line through the cone's centres, seen from above, in degrees (0 = straight out, away from the top's lean).
- Branch length (L): Along the branch's centre line, from where it meets the cone's centre line to the branch's open end.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
