Pipe to oblique cone: level branch pattern
The level branch entering the side of an eccentric cone, its end shaped to fit the cone surface. Use it with the matching cone page for the hole.
A round branch running level into an oblique cone (its top off the base's centre); the pattern is the branch.
Sizes you enter
- Base diameter (D): Across the cone's base, on the surface it is drawn to.
- Top diameter (d): Across the cone's top, on the surface it is drawn to.
- Height (H): From the base to the top.
- Top offset (X): The top's centre from the base's, seen from above: away from the branch (negative: towards it).
- Branch diameter (Db): Across the branch, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Branch height (Hb): From the base to the branch's centre line.
- Branch length (L): From the cone's centre line (where it crosses the branch's) to the branch's open end.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
