Pipe to oblique cone: cone pattern for a level branch
An eccentric cone or offset reducer, its top off the base's centre, with a round pipe entering its side horizontally. The cone is developed flat with the branch hole.
A round branch running level into an oblique cone (its top off the base's centre); the pattern is the cone with its hole.
Sizes you enter
- Base diameter (D): Across the cone's base, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Top diameter (d): Across the cone's top, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Height (H): From the base to the top.
- Top offset (X): The top's centre from the base's, seen from above: away from the branch (negative: towards it).
- Branch diameter (Db): Across the branch: the hole is cut to this size.
- Branch height (Hb): From the base to the branch's centre line (over the base's centre).
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
