Lateral pipe branch flat pattern (angled tee)
A branch entering the trunk at an angle, such as a 45° lateral or Y-tee. The pattern is the branch, with its end cut to fit the trunk. The branch can be offset from the trunk's centre line.
A round branch into a round trunk at any angle, on its centre line or off it; the pattern is the branch.
Sizes you enter
- Trunk diameter (Dt): Across the trunk, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Branch diameter (Db): Across the branch, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Branch length (L): Along the branch's centre line, from where it meets the trunk's to the open end.
- Angle (A): Between the branch's centre line and the trunk's below it (90° = square).
- Offset (Z): Seen from above: the branch's centre line off the trunk's (0: on centre).
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
