Two angled branches on a pipe: branch patterns
Two equal laterals entering the trunk at a slope and spaced around it by a set angle, common on manifolds and dust collector inlets. Each branch gets its own pattern.
Two equal round branches into a round trunk at any angle, at an angle to each other; the patterns are the two branches.
Sizes you enter
- Trunk diameter (Dt): Across the trunk, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Branch diameter (Db): Across each branch, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Branch length (L): Along each branch's centre line, from where it meets the trunk's to the open end.
- Branch angle (B): Between each branch's centre line and the trunk's (90° = square).
- Angle between (A): Between the two branches' centre lines, seen along the trunk.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
