Four branches on a pipe: branch patterns
Two pairs of equal laterals leaning opposite ways along the trunk, with the pairs spaced around it by a set angle. Patterns are given for all four branches.
Four equal round branches into a round trunk: two pairs leaning opposite ways along it, the pairs at an angle round it; the patterns are the four branches.
Sizes you enter
- Trunk diameter (Dt): Across the trunk, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Branch diameter (Db): Across each branch, on the surface chosen under Sheet.
- Branch length (L): Along each branch's centre line, from where it meets the trunk's to the open end.
- Left angle (B1): Between each left branch's centre line and the trunk's (90° = square).
- Right angle (B2): Between each right branch's centre line and the trunk's (90° = square).
- Angle between pairs (A): Round the trunk, between the two pairs, seen along it.
What you get
The exact flat pattern of the part, worked out for the sheet thickness measured on the inside, the mean or the outside, with numbered press lines, the part in 3D, its weight and cutting length, and a DXF for laser, plasma or waterjet cutting (STEP as well).
